Mr. Li Chao
Managing Director (Evergreen Products Factory (BD) Ltd.)
Mr. Li joined the Group in 1996 and has served as a branch factory manager, production supervisor at the Kunming
factory, and deputy production manager at the Kunming factory. In 2016, he was transferred to the Bangladesh
factory as deputy factory manager and then factory manager. From 2025, he will be promoted to Managing Director
of Evergreen Products Factory (BD) Ltd, responsible for the production and daily operations management of all
factories in the Bangladesh base.
Mr. Hussain Dewan Zaki
Executive Director (Evergreen Products Factory (BD) Ltd.)
Mr. Hussain, who joined the group in 2011, is Executive Director of Evergreen Products Factory (BD) Ltd. He is
primarily responsible for formulating business strategy, oversees business operations in Bangladesh production
center and maintain good relationships between Bangladesh authorities and the group.
Prior to joining the group, Mr. Hussain worked in various Bangladesh authorities for over 30 years and held
different positions, including secretary of the Ministry of Industries, Secretary of the Ministry of Social
Welfare, the chairman of the Land Appeal Board of the Ministry of the Land and deputy secretary of the Economic
Relations Division of the Ministry of Finance.
Mr. Hussain obtained a Master of Science degree in psychology from the University of Dhaka in 1975 and received
training from a number of international institutes on governance and management.
Major Quazi Ferdaus-Ul-Alam
General Manager (Evergreen Products Factory (BD) Ltd.)
Mr. Ferdaus joined the Group in 2019 and currently serves as General Manager, Grade-1 in Purchase Department. He
is responsible for procurement activities, supplier management, strategic sourcing, contract management, and
ensuring the timely supply of quality materials and services.
Mr. Ferdaus successfully served as Deputy General Manager and later on as General Manager, Human Resource
Department & Administration Department both for six years, contributing significantly to HR management,
administration and organizational development.
Mr. Ferdaus served in the Bangladesh Army for 30 years, gaining extensive experience in leadership,
administration, logistics, training and human resource management. He also served in two United Nations
peacekeeping missions.
With his extensive experience and leadership capabilities Mr. Ferdaus is contributing to the Group’s operational
excellence and sustainable growth.
Mr. Md. Shamim Uddin
General Manager (Evergreen Products Factory (BD) Ltd.)
Mr. Uddin joined the Group in 2010 and currently serves as the General Manager, Shipping Department. He is
responsible for overseeing the Group’s shipping operations, international logistics, customs and bonded
warehouse compliance, import and export activities, freight management, and supply chain coordination, ensuring
the efficient movement of goods and full compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements.
Mr. Uddin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master of Economics, and a Bachelor of Laws
(LL.B.). He is also a qualified Income Tax Practitioner (ITP). With extensive experience in shipping, customs
affairs, international trade, and export-oriented manufacturing operations, Mr. Uddin has made significant
contributions to strengthening the Group’s global supply chain, enhancing regulatory compliance, and driving
operational excellence.
